I had the privilege of being able to attend my Great Uncle Paul's funeral early this month. What a wonderful experience it was. This man holds a special place in my heart and I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to know him. 
D. Phillips (family friend), David Bailey (uncle), Tim Waite (brother), Sherod Waite (brother) and Andrew Waite (brother). 
My mom received the American Flag in Uncle Paul's honor.
He received the full military honors for his service in WWII.
He was buried at The Veteran's cemetery just East of Bakersfield. It was a beautiful location.
