A Great Day

We had the perfect day yesterday. We decided to pack the kids up and take them to a Spring training game downtown. The Colorado Rockies spring training facility is here in town and they were playing the Mariner's (one of our favorite teams).

Ren and Sarah were really hoping to get some autographs, but the players weren't offering them for some annoying reason. Sarah was lucky enough to get a ball that was hit our way.

Tait was a trooper. He pretty much sat like this the whole time. He's the easiest baby!

It started to get a little cold and it was looking like it was going to rain, so we left a little early and headed for the car (which was a mile away) and got there just before it started raining.
A great day with my favorite people.

Emily, these are great pictures. What a fun day with the kids. I can't belive your warm weather. I'm so jealous. I know you got rain, but just to be in short sleeves and no wind, would be great.

Easy babies are the BEST. Fun family days are the BEST.

How fun - we want to go to a spring training game, too! Perhaps we can meet up at one - keep us posted.

Jenn and I are both in town this week - perhaps one night this week for a night out? Thoughts?

My boys would have loved this! And I would have endured it for their sake.

I think I need to interpret for you northerners:

- "Cold" in Tucson means cloudy and 70°.
- Pouring rain in Tucson in March means we felt a couple of drops and used our windshield wipers for a couple of blocks.

Close one. The rain has been chasing me all day. I am afraid to leave the house.

That looks like a lot of fun. Would we be able to catch a game while we are there?

Looks like a fun day. We didn't make it to any games this year. Hopefully there will still be someone to watch here next year!
