My sisters left today and I've managed to get myself out of the fetal position long enough to write this post.
It was so nice having them here. It was one long party that I wish never had to end. When we weren't running around playing, we were sitting around doing this. Molly went to school to be a massage therapist so you better believe she was dishing out the rubs while she was here. My girls got in on the action too, of course. You can see Amanda in the background reading the Smart Remarks Book Club book which she finished while she was here.
My girls insisted on having a "Talent Show" while my sisters were here. There were sign up sheets and it was serious business. I racked my brain trying to come up with a talent, but Amanda took the cake with her juggling act involving potatoes. I got it on video and will have to post it later.
Anna had a "race" around the trampoline with Ren. Rachel decided to join in too, but it turned ugly fast.
This was me just before I stepped up onto a chair and fell through! That was my talent, I guess.
I am so grateful for my sisters and their constant love and influence in my life. I mean it when I say I am better because of them. They are all outstanding people and I love them more than ever. Thanks for coming to be with me. I know it was a big sacrafice and it meant a lot.

This is why I need for Hannah to have a sister.
What a great family you have Emily!
You are so lucky.
Thanks for having us. I loved every minute of it. Now I get to catch up on my sleep. Hang in there sis. Love you tons!
I can feel the love through this post. It is just beautiful. You are blessed miss Emily.
Emily, this is the best thing that sisters can do. Get together and take care of each other. I love how often you get to see your family. That massage looks awesome and you all look so great. Glad you had a wonderful time.
That looks super fun. I wish you could move here. I am lucky to live by your sisters. I have to say I am glad they are back, but I am sad for you. My sister lived by us for two whole years and it was super fun but now she lives 3000 miles away. It is lame.
Parties? Fondue? laughs? and a full nights sleep. You really lived it up.
Oh, it looks like you guys had such a great time. I am so glad you got a weekend with your sisters. And that you had so much fun. You are so lucky that you get along so well, and that there are more than just two of you!!
Glad you had fun! Stepping through a chair and running around a trampoline sounds like my kind of talent show. So Amanda finished the book... did you and Annie finish it yet?
Sounds like you had a great time. sisters are the best!
If your sister came to visit and took the night shift with the newborn you know you have amazing sisters. Sounds like a dream weekend for mother of newborn.
Lucky you!!! Sounds like the perfect weekend of fun!
That is AWESOME. Your sisters are way nice for getting up with the babe. Especially if he gets up that much. That massage looks really tempting. I'll have to have Molly give me a hook up.
It looked like a nice WARM weekend of diet coke drinking, fondue eating, trampoline jumping, massaging good times. And you got to sleep on top of it all. I knew I should have been invited!
Love that picture of Anna chillin with Sonic and a foot rub!
Jenny--NO, I haven't finished the book yet. I'm getting close though. Annie hadn't started it yet, but maybe she has by now. I'm excited to discuss it!
That looks like a lot of fun! I should do something like that with my sisters...Hang in there!
You are blessed and have a great family. I am glad you had such a good time. I volunteer to take the baby nights when we come so maybe you can get caught up again. I can't wait to hold him again. I can't wait to see all of you again.
