Back to life..back to reality

I had a great time in Boise. It was really tiring and busy, but lots and lots of fun. I got there late on Friday night and my sisters were there to pick me up. Tim and Brenda were there waiting at the house and we all stayed up really late talking and catching up. On Saturday we awoke to SEVEN kids running wild and screaming! Anna had brought her younger 3 and Amanda's 4 kids were asleep when Anna arrived, so when the kids woke up on Saturday morning and realized their cousins were there, it was complete mayhem! Anna and I just laid in bed talking and laughing while they were going wild. It was funny listening to Steve calmly telling the kids over and over and over to be quiet. What a patient man. The party wasn't until the evening, so we went to lunch and the church bookstore and just hung out until it was time to go to the party. We got there a little early and tried to help as much as we could. Oh--not sure if I even mentioned why I was going to Boise in the first place. My cousins were throwing their parents a surprise 40th anniversary party and it just kind of turned into a mini-family reunion. So, the party was a huge success. Lots of people were there and my aunt and uncle were genuinely surprised. It was great! It was fun getting to see so much family and see my parents who surprised everyone by coming and bringing my grandma against doctors orders. It was a great surprise and everyone was thrilled to have them there!
It was fun to have all (but one) of the Waite girls and all of the Morgan girls together again. We all grew up together and were close. It was fun to catch up and see their cute kids. It's sad that most of us live far away from each other. What great times we all had growing up!
I was sad I didn't have my girls with me when they started doing the 4 generation pictures. I don't know if I'll ever be able to have one with my Grandma and my daughters. I was glad Anna got one. Isn't my niece Blythe the cutest thing?
So, now it's back to reality. I have a house to clean, laundry to do, bills to pay, errands to run...and the list goes on. I missed Rob and the kids while I was gone and they were so happy to see me when I got back. The next trip I take will be with them!

I'm so glad you had a great time. I'm looking forward to a trip of my own with my sisters. It will be so fun. I love the new template. Did you have to make it yourslef?? Where did you find it? I've been looking for the past 3 days, and I'm so frustrated. Email me and help!
