Our Trip: Part Four (Washington)

We celebrated Rob's 34th birthday (July 28) while we were in WA. It was great to have so much family there to celebrate with.
One of the highlights of the reunion was an afternoon of bowling. We had such a great time! The kids got to use this cool contraption to bowl off of.
Of course, we had to take the kids to the playground of dreams for some fun in the water. It was great fun for everyone!
Becky had the brilliant idea of letting the kids paint and put together their own 'pinewood derby' car. When it came to the awards, that was a bit hairy, but the kids had a great time!
Rachel was the "toy" of the reunion. Everybody played with her and dressed her up. It was great having so much help all the time! Rachel liked all the attention too.

Caleb was dooped into trying the Thornton's moose roast. He was a good sport when we told him that it was really the moose that the Thornton's now have stuffed and hanging on their livingroom wall.
Taylor was such a great help with Rachel. He played with her a lot, which made things easier on me.
We LOVE Kristin. She is a #1 cousin!
The kids had a blast swimming in the Gourley's pool. Thanks Kristen for letting us invade your pool!
Sarah at the playground of dreams
This is Ren wearing his great grandpa Rawlins hat. What a cutie.
Rachel LOVES Grandpa Matson
This was Rachel covered in licorice on the drive from Boise to WA. I had to do something to keep her happy!
Kennedy on Pioneer day at Grandmas. The kids love to dress up with all grandmas fun clothes.
We had such a great time in Washington at the Matson family reunion. Almost everybody was there and we formed some great memories. We are so glad we were able to go.

That licorice on Rachel was so Funny! She seriously had it in her ears, hair, and all over her face and legs! What else to give a little baby on a car drive? Cute pictures! How fun!
