The kids have been out of school for 5 weeks now and I'm proud to report that we are surviving. Being gone for 2 of those weeks really helped. Now, if I can just make it another 6 weeks, I'll deserve some type of award.
Do you think it's unhealthy to eat an entire box of Entenmann's donuts in one sitting?
Cuz I did that today. I can tell you exactly where each of the 35 pounds I've gained so far has come from.
My kids are going to eat us out of a house and home. For reals. I can't believe how much food these kids consume! I had to have a little "meeting" with them yesterday about this problem. There were discussions about the starving children in Africa and such. I guess I shouldn't be complaining, I did just admit to eating an entire box of donuts by myself.
I am really loving this show. I fantasize and pretend that I can dance like them. Wouldn't that just be so much fun to be able to move like they do? My favorites so far are Twitch and Kherington. If you watch, who are your favorites?
Tonight my hubby and I are going here. Can I get an amen? I can't tell you how badly I need to go and get my two hours of peace and harmony.

I love Twitch and K, too. But I also love Chelsea and Mark. I can't stop watching their dance this week. I watch it over and over and over... And Joshua and Katie. Love that show.
And I love that you ate an entire of donuts all by yourself. You go!
We love that show too. Since we are from Utah, we like anyone with Utah ties. We just hope they are good. :) Twitch and Kherington are sure fun to watch though.

Got the same problem with the kids too. I think they are eating twice the normal and playing outside half as much. But next week Grandma gets to buy the groceries. :) Hee, Hee.

Chelsea and Mark, and Twitch and Kherington are my favs. Speaking of Kherington, I got my hair cut just like hers. I hope it looks as good on me as it does on her. I'll post pictures on my blog soon.
Tonight we are going out with Becky and Jeff and then they will leave tomorrow. I'm going to be so sad. I hope you and Rob enjoy your date night. I know I look forward to mine a lot. I know what you mean about the food. I swear my kids either eat and whine or whine and then eat! :)

SYTYCD is a fave show at our house too! Kerrington is awesome. I also have a really soft spot for Gev. Is that weird or what?

I got banned from watching that show. Dwight needed to put his foot down to something I guess. He said it was innapropriate for his boys to be watching.
And I think there is absolutely nothing wrong with eating an entire box of anything.
This is my first season of watching the show. I have to agree with Mandee those are my favorite couples. They all are amazing and have their good and bad moments. But I loved Twitch and Kherington's Viennese Waltz routine, Mia Michaels was an idiot to say her smile was fake. Joshua and Katie never cease to amaze me. I was worried about their routine this week, but Josh's hips moved so naturally, and Katie complimented him very well. Chelsea and Mark were awesome this week and the first week when she was dressed in the bridal gear.
Nuff about that...Have a great date night, I am so jealous you live so close to the temple...It is a 3 hour trip for us! We are hoping to go to the temple while we are in Utah next month!
I can't imagine a better date night that to visit the temple with hubby. Hope you had an enjoyable time.

I've had plenty of doughnut sessions like that myself and I wasn't pregnant. So don't feel bad. My kids are eating like mad here too. What's up with that! I haven't been watching SYTYCD this year. I didn't want to get hooked on it. But I did break down and watch a little on UTube. Mia Michaels bizarre choreography is my favorite! So whoever does her dances tends to be my favorite.
I love Twitchington, Joshua and Katee, Mark and Chelsea, and Courtney and Gev. I can't pick one couple among the four yet, cuz I just love them all!
I love to get the box of mini chocolate donuts "for the kids". Uh...yeah. They get like two, and I end up eating the rest. Bad, bad donuts!

I hope you had a great time at the temple. It takes so MUCH crazy, sometimes overwhelming effort for us to get up there but once we're in I am always SO glad I went! Oh--what you said about you and the donuts---I have been there too except it was Oreos.
You already know I how I feel about SYTYCD. I am loving every minute of it this year. I always have my pin and paper handy in case I want to download a new song I hear on the show.
I got to go to the temple this weekend too. Love the piece and quiet there.
I'm also with you on the food inhilation problem. My food budget always doubles in the summer.
I wish I was pregnant, only so I could eat a box of dough nuts. That sounds good right now.
My kids drive me nuts, "grazing" in the pantry all summer, then wasting their dinner.
And my favorites, in order, are Chelsea & Mark, Katie & Josh, and Twitch & Kherington.
Ditto in SYTYCD. When you are pregnant you get to eat whatever you want. I hated gestational daibetes, you crave stuff so bad and cant have it. hmmmm. well I left mom a big box of newborn stuff to bring you. Take Care. Love ya
I'm a big fan! I really like Twitch and K as well, Will is pretty great too. I am amazed how hip hoppers with no training can get in there an ballroom and modern dance. It's tricky stuff.

Hi Emily!! I was just reading your blog, you do such a great job! Very fun!! I related to the starving children speech and had a good laugh!! I just recently found Christian in the pantry eating spoonfuls of sugar out of the jar.... apparently we don't have enough sweets for our kids sweet tooths!! Never a dull moment!! Hope you survive the summer and had some relief at the temple!!
I am NOT preggers and still ate a whole box of something yesterday. Is that bad?
