We had a wonderful Christmas!! We started the morning early and had my traditional cinnamon rolls. We also had our traditional "talk" where we prep the kids for any possible disappointments in the gift department and we discuss the true meaning of Christmas. The kids were patient for the most part and very grateful for everything they got. I have to say that Christmas may be more fun as an adult than as a kid. I love seeing my kids faces when they open their gifts. We spent the rest of the day being lazy and putting together and playing with toys. This was our first Christmas in the 7 years we've been married that we didn't have any family around. It was quiet, but nice. Great family memories were formed!
